M.D. is also a dedicated terminal for Tank Containers and Swap Bodies. Handling is done using cranes skilfully manoeuvred by highly qualified personnel, in accordance with the highest safety standards.
A specifically designed dedicated system allows a constant control of stocks, inputs and forecast outputs.
The area is video-monitored and tele-alarmed with remote control and video-recording of events, in accordance with applicable privacy regulations to guarantee the highest level of site security.

MD has an efficient steam, hot water and electric heating system available to clients 7/24 for restoring the most delicate products temperature in 5 dedicated bays with separate circuit condensate recovery.
The efficient steam heating system with the option to modulate pressure according to the product features and the client requirements. The system is equipped with condensate recovery, and can produce steam up to 10 bar pressure and 180 °C.

For more sensitive products, you can use hot water adjustable up to a temperature of 80°C.

TANK/TANK CONTAINER CLEANING AND HEATING

Our deposit is equipped with a tank reclamation system and a product heating system.

Cleaning is controlled and monitored by a latest-generation, fully-automated, PLC-controlled computerised system allowing the delivery of cold and hot water, steam, solvent detergents and bio-degreasers, by means of pre-programmed and ad hoc pre-set cycles for all product families, while guaranteeing the highest quality result with extraordinary speed of execution.

When it comes to the maintenance of tank containers and swap bodies, M.D. has a workshop at its disposal. Every tank that is checked by M.D. technicians is a guarantee of maximum safety and efficiency for the transport to be performed.
The company M.D. carries out the most frequent maintenance and repairs such as gasket changes, internal checks, pressure tightness tests of both the tank and bottom/discharge/safety valves and heating coils and all accessories in general.

M.D. features a safety valve test bench and is able to organise the mandatory periodic tests with the main certification institutes chosen by the customer.
